Anthony W. Trusty, 70, of Galveston, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo. He was born April 6, 1953, in Rensselaer, Indiana to Arthur and Alice (Cotner) Trusty.
Anthony started out working for his father in the family business at Pitch-Lined Burial Vaults in Kokomo. He later became a cab driver for the city of Kokomo. He enjoyed watching sports especially the Indianapolis Colts. He enjoyed coaching his kids in baseball at northside park and riding his Harley trike in his spare time.
Surviving family include his sons, Zach Trusty of Kokomo, and Anthony W. Trusty II of Galveston. His grandchildren, Richie, Rolland, Robbie, Raymond, Kaden, Addison, Colton, Chloe and Riley. He is also survived by two brothers, John and Jeff Trusty, and sisters, Karen, Peggy and Janet. Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Alice Trusty, and stepmother Beverly Trusty and brothers, Mike, Ray and Junior.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Rev. Bill Collins officiating, visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Barnett Cemetery in Howard County.
