Brandy Lynn Gaspar, age 39, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 19, 2024, in Kokomo.

Born March 5, 1985, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Randall Sturgill and Tammy Skroko. Her mother, Tammy Garling, is surviving, residing in Logansport. Her father is deceased.

Brandy enjoyed taking care of other people. Her children were her world. Her children describe her cooking (especially Mexican dishes) as “the best ever”. Brandy took great pride in her fingernails.

She attended Revolution Community Church in Logansport.

Our mother had the biggest heart and was such a pure soul. She dedicated her life from such a young age to being a great mother and doing everything she could for her kids. Her life revolved around family.

She was always the energy in every room she stepped into and brought happiness with her.

She enjoyed cooking, the beach, going to church and helping anyone she could in life. She was the strongest woman and always found a way to persevere.

As much pain as it brings us and how much we mourn her loss, we know she has finally found peace and is watching over us. Her presence will always be irreplaceable. It’s never goodbye, just see you later. Forever loved by your children.

Surviving are her children, Donny Cardona, Angel Skylar Trujillo, Thomasina Trujillo and Antonia Rodriguez.

Also surviving are a twin sister, Thomasina Vides, sister, Tammy Ray Garling; brother, Randall Sturgill; niece, Amalia; nephew, Dylan; as well as many other extended family members.

A brother, Donny Sturgill, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27th, at Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home. The funeral service and celebration of Brandy’s life will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home, with Pastor Nathan Pelehowski officiating.
