Nancy A. Samuels

Nancy A. Samuels, 75, of Logansport, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.

Born on May 23, 1948, in Logansport, Nancy is the daughter of the late Thomas Walter and Odell (Parsley) Harris. On November 23, 1993, in the Main Street United Methodist Church, Logansport, Nancy married Norman Samuels who survives.

Nancy graduated high school in 1967. She had worked many places over her lifetime, including, Area Five, Memorial Hospital, as an EMT for the ambulance service; and she operated a dance studio called “Wild Country”. Nancy enjoyed gardening and took pride in the many species of flowers around her home. She loved watching the Voice, Christmas time with her family and was a member of The Logansport Church. Nancy was the best grandma/gigi and enjoyed taking care of and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Along with her husband Norm, Nancy is survived by three sons, Mark Gaby of Charleston, SC, Scott (Helena) Gaby of Churubusco, IN, Joe Gaby of Logansport, IN; step son Greg (Brenda) Samuels of Logansport; step daughter, Susan (Scott) Berkshire of Logansport; three brothers, Grant Harris of Ft. Wayne, IN, Steve Harris of Monticello, IN, Ted Shriver of Logansport, IN; sister, Judy (John) Frame of Ft. Worth, TX; five grandsons, Scott Gaby of Logansport, IN, Michael Conklin of Logansport, IN, Ethan Gaby of Peru, IN; Jacob Berkshire and Levi Berkshire; four granddaughters, Jennifer Gaby of Kokomo, IN, Alicia Gaby of Greentown, IN, Kaitlyn Jones of Beach Grove; Natalie and Adrienne Gaby; And Lauren Price and several great grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by three sisters, Geraldine “Jerry” Zoubul, Frankie Seehase and Freida Couch, and 4 brothers, Bruce Harris, Harold Harris, Ralph Harris, and Rex Harris.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Aaron Gross officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
