Patricia A. (Briney) Morgan

Patricia A. “Pat” Morgan, age 74, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly at 4:34 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.

Born September 19, 1949, in Monticello, she was the daughter of Robert and Phyllis Blackburn Briney.

She was married May 27, 1972, to Terry Morgan, who survives.

In earlier years, Pat was a licensed beautician. She then worked for the Gossard Company, Switches, Modine and Federal Mogul, where she retired.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jenny (Jeff) Burton, Tina Morgan, all of Logansport; grandchildren, Ozzy (Jaela) Murray, Dr. Amanda Murray; great grandchildren, Riley Murray and Mya Murray.

Also surviving are her siblings, Jim Briney, Robbie Briney, Tessie Briney, Tom (Becky) Briney, Tim (Kim) Briney, Melissa James (Lisa) and Katrina Briney; an aunt, Mary Goble; several nieces and nephews.

Pat loved her can am Spyder and the riding group (NCIS), the North Central Indiana Spyders. She enjoyed riding her Spyder to other states for rallies, where she made friends easily. Some of her rides raised money for Riley Children’s Hospital. She had Spyder friends all over the United States and Australia.

She could tear her Spyder apart to change the battery and she wasn’t afraid to get dirty, which included home remodeling.

She loved chocolate and ice cream and enjoyed crocheting while watching Grey’s Anatomy.

She loved her grand dog, Oakley, a three-year old Belgian, Malinois.

In short, Pat was a kind, friendly person with a great laugh. She made people feel comfortable and welcome.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be at a later date and announced to the public.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home.
