C Health will kick off a year of celebrating “On the Road to 50” years of serving North Central Indiana on May 30, 2024.  The first meeting that initiated the idea of a community mental health center for Cass, Miami, Pulaski, and Fulton counties was on May 30th, 1974. Over a year of planning at that time, Four County Comprehensive Mental Health Center came into existence with the 1st formal meeting of the Board of Directors on June 24, 1975.

“We have decided to celebrate ‘On the Road to 50’ to show gratitude and appreciation for the small group of community members back in 1974 that saw a need to address mental health in our rural communities. This small group saw an idea through to reality that 50 years later has grown to have positive impacts across over a dozen North Central rural communities,” said 4C Health CEO, Dr Carrie Cadwell, PsyD HSPP
