Lloyd “Scott” Knight, 52, of Logansport, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 1, 2024, at his home, following a courageous 9-year battle with Stage IV metastatic kidney cancer.

Born October 10, 1971, in Logansport, he was the son of Lloyd Robert Knight and Jacqueline Sue “Jackie” Fultz.

Scott attended Logansport High School and went on to further his education at Ivy Tech Community College and Lincoln Technical Institute for automotive mechanics. He enjoyed working on cars.

He had been employed as an HVAC service technician with Mainstreet Mechanical Services for several years.

Scott enjoyed nature and loved rivers, mushroom hunting and disc golf. He enjoyed a good game of pool, or fun times with family and friends dice’n or playing Monopoly. Scott was an avid Tony Stewart fan, collecting memorabilia among other things like coins and Hot Wheels. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandson.

He is survived by his mother, Jackie Fultz, Logansport; his father, Lloyd R. Knight, Logansport; his children, Kassandra (Jacob) Allen, Logansport, Brooke Blackwell (Arturo Munoz) and Lloyd Matthew (Sherrie) Knight, all of Arizona, and Jake Corcoran; three brothers, James E. Knight, Peru, and Neal J. Fultz and Patrick Fultz, both of Logansport; two stepsisters, Jessica (Frank) Woodward, Logansport, and Heather Fultz, Peru; and one grandson, Isaiah Knight.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Dianna Knight. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. Monday, May 6, in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 7 p.m. with Alvin Doss officiating.
