Marvin D. Berkshire, 80 of Royal Center passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Franciscan Hospital in Lafayette.

Born on May 23, 1943 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Clyde and Helen (Houser) Berkshire.

He was a 1963 Royal Center High School graduate.

On April 23, 1965 he married Wilma “Jean” Cosgray, she survives.

Marvin was a farmer and retired from Berkshire Implement in Royal Center.

He enjoyed playing cards, collecting toy tractors and going to tractor shows.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma “Jean” Berkshire of Royal Center, children, Denise Brandt (Randy) of Royal Center, Beverly Graf (Mark) of Logansport and Norman Berkshire (Tammy) of Royal Center, sisters, Karen Brubaker (Jon) of Ft. Wayne and Permella “Mel” Campbell (Doug) of Chicago, sister in law and brother in law, Wanetia and John Rehm of Royal Center, grandchildren, Cody Brandt, Jamie Brandt, Cameron Graf, Levi Berkshire and Preston Berkshire and great grandchildren, Wyatt, Gavin, Logan and Jadelynn  Brandt and Gwendolyn and Paxton Torres.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, Vance and Gary Berkshire.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center with Pastor Ed Roller officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will follow at Bell Center Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Children’ s Hospital and/or the Ronald McDonald House.
