Melinda L. (Weaver) Callaghan

Melinda L. (Weaver) Callaghan, 65, of Logansport , Indiana passed away May 23, 2024.  After a short battle with cancer, she died in her home  surrounded by family.  She was born on December 10, 1958 in 
Junction City, Kansas to the late William H. Weaver and Beverly R. (Curry) Weaver.

She graduated from Winamac High School in 1977. Melinda resided in Logansport and worked at McDonalds, Happy Burger, Modine and TM Morris/Kauffman throughout the years.

Melinda loved and enjoyed the company of her many cats. She was a big Indianapolis Colts fan. Melinda enjoyed gardening, reality television shows, watching Survivor and Big Brother, gambling, casinos, the gameshow network, HGTV, dragons and wolves nicknacks, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Melinda is survived by: her children, Renee Gellinger (Robert) and Jared Callaghan; her mother, Beverly R. Weaver; grandchildren, Emily Gellinger, Connor Gellinger, Ethan Gellinger, Alyssa Gellinger; one sister, Jennifer Landoll (James); and nephew, Justin Landoll.

She was preceded in death by: her father, William H. Weaver; and brother, Greg Weaver.

Per Melinda’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
