Robert S. Eldridge, 62, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 11, 2024, in his home.

Born June 6, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Eddie and Eva Eldridge, of Columbus, Ohio, and the late Sydney (Stone) Russell.

On March 28, 2015, in Logansport, he was married to Kimberly (Todd) Eldridge, who survives.

A graduate of Mifflin High School, Robert worked in the meat industry before becoming disabled.

An avid sports enthusiast, Robert was a big fan of Ohio State football. He loved music and fishing. His love of music spanned many decades as well as types of music – he enjoyed it all.

Surviving with his wife and his father are his children, Renatta Eldridge and Terrance Eldridge, both of Ohio; his stepson, Briar Monroe, Logansport; his stepdaughter, Mariah Monroe; three sisters, Teresa (Virgil) Johnson and Irene (Charles) Allen, all of Huntington, West Virginia, and Robbin Jackson, of Logansport; one granddaughter, Syndney Eldridge; and three step grandchildren, Braydon, Gavin, and Avery Monroe. 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one son, Travis Eldridge, one stepson, Isac Collins, a brother, Edwin Eldridge; and his stepmother, Georgia Eldridge.

A Memorial Service celebrating Robert’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 23, in Fisher Funeral Chapel with celebrant Dawn Fisher officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. 

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
