Betty L. Zeller

Betty L. Zeller, 86, Dayton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in Chase Center, Logansport, Indiana.

Born July 31, 1937, in Defiance, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Cora (Demlin) Grant.

On February 16, 1957, she was married to Larry Zeller, who preceded her in death on May 13, 2024.

Betty enjoyed gardening, especially when it came to caring for her beautiful flowers. She was an avid reader who also loved walking in the park. Bird-watching with her husband, Larry, was among her favorite pastimes.

Surviving are three children, Kim (Vicki) Zeller, Logansport, Larry (Nicole) Zeller, Jr., Peru, and Kyle Zeller, South Bend; grandchildren, Kristine (Travis) Van Baalen, and Kyleen Hoge; great grandchildren, Mason Van Baalen and Sawyer Van Baalen; step grandchildren, Eric Knight, Adrianna Knight and Emma Knight, all of Peru; and step-great grandchildren, Arthur Knight, Mateo Knight and Adelina Knight.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Hoge; nine brothers and five sisters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Burial will be at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance, Ohio.
