Glen Vigar, 63, of Logansport, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born April 2, 1961, in Rochester, Indiana, he was the son of Harley Vigar and Evelyn (Moyer) Willis.

On June 9, 2005, he was married to Kim (Winegardner) Vigar, who survives.

Glen served his country in the U.S. Army during peacetime.

A longtime employee of the Logansport State Hospital, Glen worked in the control center in the Issac Ray unit.

An outdoor enthusiast, Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and traveling. He loved sports and was an avid Colts fan. His favorite pastime was spent attending his grandchildren’s games.

Glen helped with the construction of the batting cages and the maintenance of the Titan Bat Company building.

Surviving with his wife of 19 years Kim Vigar, and his mother, Evelyn Willis, is his son, Glen (Autumn) Baldwin; stepchildren, Trampas (Tracey) Young, Jamie (Jaynene) Young, and Jason (Laura) Young; sisters, Louann Davis, Susan Ingram and Tina Vigar; grandchildren, Cooper Baldwin, Glen “Deuce” Baldwin, Braxton (Emma) Young, Baylee (Jaelyn) Young, Maverick Young, Pierce Young, Jamieson Young, and Dalton Hutchinson; best friend, Kevin (Barbie) Orman; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Lily.

Glen was preceded in death by his father, Harley Vigar and sister, Terrie Halloway.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the love and care shown to Glen by the Guardian Angel Hospice, Memorial Hospital Cancer Canter and the VA Clinic of Peru.
