Jeanne S. Stebbins, 83, of Logansport, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, in Memorial Hospital.
Jeanne was born March 14, 1941, in Syracuse New York, to the late Charles E. and Helen Virginia (Harter) Schoeneck.
On September 2, 1961, in Bennington Center, New York, Jeanne married George Stebbins, who preceded her in death on July 31, 2018.
She was a 1959 graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy. After graduation, Jeanne earned her associates degree from Alfred University in New York.
Jeanne worked as a lab technician at Buffalo General Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her children: Sheryl Hoch, George L. Stebbins VI and wife Penny and Scott Stebbins and wife Missy, all of Logansport, and Suzanne Bamberger and husband Robert, of Williston, FL; nine grandchildren: Joey (Rachel) Hoch, Ashley (Gregg) Blakeley, Lacey Hoch, Tiara Laster, April (Brittany Victor) Stebbins, Lindy Wilson, and Orson Newcomb, Adam Alcala and Conor Alcala; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother Richard Schoeneck.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, September 5 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service celebrating Jeanne’s life will follow at 1 p.m. with Dawn Fisher officiating.
Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
