Renee Allen, 47, of Logansport, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Sunday morning, August 11, 2024, at her home in Camelot.

Born November 17, 1976, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Allen.

Renee came to Camelot at a very young age. She completed her special education program at Fairview West and received her certificate of completion in 1983. She advanced to the continuing education program at Camelot, completing her studies in 1990. Since that time, she has been part of the adult programs with Cardinal, PEAK and Carey Services.

In earlier years, Rene was a member of the Girl Scouts of America.

Renee is survived by her guardian, Jacqueline Curtis, of Kokomo; of Logansport; and the loving caregivers and friends at Camelot Care Center and Carey Services.

She was preceded in death by her longtime roommate, Renee Allen, who was like a sister to Renee.

A Funeral Service celebrating Renee’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2024, in Fisher Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial, at a later date, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
