Betty Jane O’Brien

Betty Jane O’Brien, age 93, of Logansport, passed away Thursday September 5, 2024, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born October 15, 1930, in Logansport to the late Harry and Pauline (Hess) Todd. On November 27, 1948, in Logansport Betty married Carol O’Brien who preceded her in death on October 20, 2017.

Betty was a former Communications Operator for Logansport State Hospital.

Survivors include one daughter, Jenean C. (Kim) Woodward, Flora, IN; one grandson, Carl (Brooklyn) Roland, Flora, IN; three granddaughters, Cambree (Sam Schimmel) Roland, Flora, IN; Cheyenne (Ben) Jeffery, Flora, IN; Sierra (Cody) Anderson, Lizton, IN; six great grandchildren, Jade Johnston, Olivia Berkshire, Paislee Jeffery, Wyatt Jeffery, Brystal Roland and Journey Roland; several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by several siblings.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 pm Friday September 6, 2024, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Teri White Officiating. An entombment will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
