James K. Cook, age 77, of Logansport, passed away at his residence on September 17, 2024.

Born June 21, 1947, in Bardstown, KY.  He was the son of the late Francis Arnold Cook and Elsie Virginia Carrier.

James was a former head of security at the Logansport State Hospital.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherrell Pope of Logansport, IN; and one grandson, Ryan Adcock of Brentwood, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his former wife Elvira Mae Cook.

There will be no services an cremation has been entrusted to Gundrum Funeral Home and Cass County Crematory.
