Jeffery Allen Emery

Jeffery Emery, 58, of Logansport, passed away at home Sunday morning, September 15, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born June 7, 1966, in Morris, Illinois, he was the son of the late Cletus H. Emery, Sr. and Jacqueline (Titus) Emery.

A 1985 graduate of Logansport High School, Jeff was a collision/body repair technician at Mike Anderson GM dealership.

On August 28, 2019, in Tennessee, he was married to Kathryn “Kath” (Hall) Emery, who survives.

Jeff was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to Hot Rod car shows. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, kayaking, camping, gardening and mushroom hunting. He was a good cook as well as a grill master. Jeff wore the title of Papaw quite proudly – he loved his grandkids so much.

Surviving with his wife, Kathy, are his children, Justin (Kreyl)Hall, Travis (Nicole) Emery,, Cory (Marc) Emery, and Katie (Kyle) Urbin; ten grandchildren, Blaize, Keira, Myah, Carson, Harlyn, Bella, Adaline, Harper, Blake and Hayley; three brothers, Cletus Emery, Jr., Dennis Emery, Ronald (Connie) Emery, and Bradley Emery; sisters, Mary Emery, Josephine Emery, and Kelly Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Emery; and his grandson, Nyght

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, September 19 in Fisher Funeral Chapel. It will be followed by a funeral service celebrating the life of Jeff Emery at 5 p.m. in the funeral chapel.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery on Friday, September 20th. The funeral procession to the cemetery will leave the funeral home at 10 a.m.
