Lisa Jane (McFadden) Spanley Bedocs, 67, Logansport, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, in the emergency room at Logansport Memorial Hospital. 

Born April 13.  1957, in Gary, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Darrell and Jane (Hayhurst) McFadden. 

Lisa was a homemaker all her life. She went to school in Crown Point, married and then moved to Winamac in the 1990’s and later moved to Logansport. 

She and her husband Kenneth “Kenny” Bedocs met at barber school and were married December 6, 1997. Lisa brought with her (into the marriage) her children, Missy & Aaron and then in 1988 they had their daughter Kayla. The couple enjoyed 23 years of marriage before he went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2020.

 Lisa enjoyed crafts, tending to her plants, caring for the animals on her mom & dad’s mini farm. She had a heart for all animals but especially her chihuahua dogs with whom she loved dearly. She loved shopping for a great bargain. Most days, if you stopped by her house most likely she would have music playing. She loved listening to music like Engelbert Humperdinck, Kenny Rogers, and other music from the 70’s- early 80’s. She had beautiful handwriting and always made birthdays special with themed cakes and party favors for her kids. Her grandchildren loved her homemade cooking and treats.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Conwell (Chad), Aaron Spanley (Rachel), Kayla Mahmood (John); her beloved grandchildren: Ryan Meyers (Ryan), Levi Meyers (Emily), Joshua Looker, Dana & Dani Bangel, Kaleb Conwell and Ansen Spanley; two great-grandchildren, Weston and Bailey Meyers; two brothers: Ric McFadden (Shelly) & Jim Mcfadden (Teresa); several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Travis & Ashley Blount.

A time of visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Logansport Church, 2405 Shadowlawn Drive, Logansport, Indiana. A Memorial Service celebrating Lisa’s life will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Aaron Gross officiating.
