Robert Lewis Walker, 87, Logansport, went to his eternal home with Jesus early Saturday morning, August 31, 2024, in Edgewood Senior Living Center, Walton.

Born January 22, 1937, in Kentland, IN, he was the son of the late Carroll I. and Agnes Mae (Hulsizer) Walker.

From 1957-1959, Robert served in the United States Marine Corps. He was proud to be a veteran and a member of American Legion Post 60.

Bob retired from Chrysler after 37 years.

He was a member of the Royal Center Masonic Lodge # 585, the Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, and the Murat Shrine Temple. As a member of the Logansport Shrine Club, he served as a driver for local children receiving care at the Chicago and Cincinnati Shriners Hospitals for Children. Bob was also a member of the Moose Lodge #232.

He is survived by his children, Wayne S. (Joanne) Walker, Cheryl S.(Michael) Moon, Arlene E.(Rodney) Pyle, Rex A. (Andi) Walker, and Susan R. (Ben) Brown; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, Indiana.

A Masonic service will be conducted at 2 p.m. followed by a Shrine processional. A funeral service celebrating Bob’s life will follow with his son, Wayne Walker, officiating.

Burial, with full military honors, will be in Bethel Cemetery, Logansport.
