Terry Stearns, 56, of Logansport passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Majestic Care of Lafayette.

Born May 31, 1968, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Frank and Ruth Ann (Harper) Stearns.

On June 13, 1998, in Logansport, Terry was married to Laura (Trapp) Stearns, who survives.

Terry was proud to be a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a handyman – there wasn’t anything that Terry couldn’t fix.

His hobbies included fishing, mowing, listening to music, and spending time with his dog, Sadie Bee.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Laura Stearns; one son, Terry Matthew Stearns; four daughters, Shaylah Stearns, Savanah Stearns, Charissa Reed, Tanica Howie ; his brother, Gary W. (Karen) Stearns; grandchildren Ava, Ema, Cierra, Matt, Alex, Taylor, Jeffery; and two great-grandchildren, Capernicus and Timaeus King.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Joanna Johnson.

A private family visitation was held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services.
