Bobbie Sue Black

Bobbie Sue Black, 53, Monticello, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, October 13, 2024, with her family by her side.
Born December 30, 1970, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late William A. Black, Sr. and Rega Joyce (Good) Black.
Bobbie was a 1991 graduate of Logansport High School. Despite being born with spina bifida and club feet, Bobbie never let it slow her down. She was active in Special Olympics for many years. She loved keeping in touch with Facebook and playing games.
Following high school, she lived in Kokomo where she worked at the Olive Garden Restaurant and Bona Vista
She is survived by her siblings, William “Bill” Black Jr., Logansport, Rita (Michael) Davis, Russiaville, James “Jim” (Mary) Black, Delphi, Mark Black Sr., Logansport, Tammy (Brad) Manning, Logansport, and Nicholas “Nick” (Dianna) Black, Augusta, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. With such a large family, not only did Bobbie Sue know all of their birthdates, but she also knew all of her friends’ birthdates and always wished them a “Happy Birthday.”
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Paige Black.
A huge thank you goes out to her Monticello Healthcare family for the love and care she received the past ten years.
A Funeral Service celebrating Bobbie Sue’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 16 in Fisher Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral, starting at 11 a.m. in the funeral chapel.
Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
