Cynthia “Cindy” Rance

Cynthia “Cindy” Rance, 61, Logansport, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024, in Ascension St. Vincent, in Indianapolis.
Born October 10, 1963, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Lester Eugene and Dora Mae (Bollinger) Brown.
On September 10, 1983, she was married to Larry Eugene Rance, Jr. who survives.
Cindy graduated from Pioneer High School and went on to attend Kaplan University. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree to pursue a career as a Medical Assistant. She had previously worked as a QMA at Northwoods Village and the former Sterling House in Kokomo. She had also worked as a teacher’s aide at Maplecrest Elementary with special needs students. Cindy and Larry worked together as license life insurance agents for Primerica.
A homemaker who rocked at being a grandma, Cindy loved her family dearly. She set aside a special day each month as “Sister Day” for fun with her sisters. She was an active member of the New Life Church in Kokomo and now rejoices, fully restored, with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Surviving with her husband, Larry, are her children, Heather Rance and Brent Rance, both of Kokomo; along with two who were like children to her, Lois DeWitt, Kokomo, and Richard “Scotty” Wynn, Indianapolis; siblings, Steven (Sheila) Brown, Lafayette, Lisa (Pat) Brown-Romano, West Lafayette, Darlene Brown, Lafayette, and John (Carrie) Brown, Linden; five grandchildren, Keyiona Martin, Jaidyn Martin, Xavier Rance, Elyjah Rance, and Nikolai Rance; her mother-in-law, Betty Rance; sister-in-law, LouAnn Rance; brother-in-law, Steve Rance; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4- 7 p.m. Friday, October 18 in Fisher Funeral Chapel, 1801 Chase Road, Logansport.
A funeral service celebrating Cindy’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 19 in the funeral chapel with Pastor Devin Gallaway
officiating.
Interment will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
