Melissa Dillon, 54, Logansport, passed away Monday evening, October 7, 2024, in Chase Center following a long, hard-fought battle with cancer, including blindness. But when she opened her eyes in Heaven, she looked to Jesus face-to-face, fully restored. No more pain. No more struggles. Only peace everlasting.
Born March 9, 1970, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Rita (Sailors) Dillon.
Melissa had a caring heart and had worked as a CNA. She was a loving mother and grandmother who had been helping raise her grandchildren the past several years.
She is survived by her children, Kami Pigg, Keesha Pigg, and Kai-lee Pigg; two brothers, Keith Dillon and Rob Dillon; her best friend, who was like a sister to her, Cynthia Appleton McGuire; eight grandsons and one granddaughter.
Arrangements are pending at Fisher Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted at Fisher Funeral Chapel to help the family with final expenses. You may also click on the “Tribute Fund” link to donate online. No donation is too small – your kindness will give hope to a family who needs to feel loved right now. Thank you for caring.
