Michael Alan Ross, 71 of Logansport, passed away in the comfort of his home Saturday night, October 5, 2024, surrounded by his family who he loved so much.

Born June 21, 1953, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Richard and Violet (Titus) Ross.

His first marriage on July 3, 1976, was to Connie Lorraine (Crow) Ross. She preceded him in death September 22, 1979.

On October 28, 1989, in Logansport, he was married to Teresia (Winegardner) Ross, who survives.

Mike enlisted in the United States Army and served during peacetime.

He spent most of his career as a material handler for manufacturing equipment with 34 years at Carlisle and 7 years at Caterpillar.

Mike was a member of the B.P.O of the Elks #66. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time in his camper. He was a huge fan of NASCAR, IU, and the Chicago Bears. Mike enjoyed playing cards and games with his family. He loved classic country and rock.

Surviving with his wife of 35 years, Teresia are three children, Michael (Missy) Ross, Jr., Cassie (Curtis) VanMeter, and Stephanie Ross; brother, Jeff Ross; sister, Kathy (John) Delaney; grandchildren, Olivia (Blake) Newby, Mason Reese, Mya VanMeter, Madalyn VanMeter, Lilly Ross, Peyton Ross, Layla Ross, Justin Michael, Wyatt Michael, and Zion Michael; and great-grandchildren, Blakeleigh, Theo, and Nicole Newby.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Richard “Dick” Ross, Pam Yocum, Mary Jane Nichols, and Terri Lantz.

A funeral service celebrating Mike’s life will be held at 12 p.m. noon on Friday, October 11, in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Jeremy Jones, of the Cornerstone Church, officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the funeral

Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
