Terri Reed Bischoff

Terri Bischoff, 65, of Laketon, Indiana, formerly of Cass County, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, October 6, 2024, in Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre of Wabash, surrounded by her family. On July 30th, she was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, which she battled courageously, conquering it when she went to her Heavenly home, fully restored.
Born July 14, 1959, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Paul “Bill” and Margaret (Kerlin) Reed.
A 1977 graduate of Lewis Cass High School, Terri went on to study at Ball State University where she earned an Associate of Science degree. She spent the next two years studying at Indiana State University. earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work. She met her future husband, Bob Moore, at ISU. The couple were married two years and five days before his untimely and sad death from lymphoma.
Terri’s career in social work was very rewarding. She managed Cardinal group homes for mentally handicapped adults – often bringing clients home with her to experience her large family’s holiday celebrations. Terri’s hobbies included computer games and playing cards. Her sense of humor kept you on your toes and she was a joy to be around.
The most wonderful thing in her life was being the mother of her son, Clint Bischoff (Jennifer Walters), Laketon; as well as grandma to Myla Bischoff, and Logan and Alexis Walters. Family time was her priority.
Her childhood was perfect with Pipe Creek Falls as her playground and older sisters, Janet (Jeff) Bowyer, Joyce (Kent) Rose, and Rita (Patrick) McLochlin, who loved her. She was “Aunt Terri” to many nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 9 in Fisher Funeral Chapel, 1801 Chase Road, Logansport. A funeral service celebrating Terri’s life will take place at 1 .p.m. in the funeral chapel with Dawn Fisher officiating.
Interment will follow in the Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 3rd Floor Nursing Station, Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre, 600 Washington Street, Wabash, IN 46992.
