Georgiann Pickens, age 91, of Lucerne, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024, at Winfield Crossing in Rochester, IN.

Born June 7, 1933, in Winamac, IN to the late Charles and Florence (Howard) Riemenschneider. On May 4, 1951, In Young America, Indiana Georgiann married her loving husband, Clifford D. Pickens who preceded in death August 7, 2009.

Georgiann retired after working for Cass County Treasurers office and also for EEL Township Trustee. She was a member of Logansport Niddee Shrine Guild, Past Maharanee, Past Worthy Matron, and a member of Royal Center Chapter #375 Order of Eastern Star.

 Georgiann is survived by her son, Monte (Corinne) Pickens of Rochester, IN; daughter, Pam (Denny) Grable of Springboro, OH; grandson, Brian Grable of Salem, MA; two granddaughters, Jill (Jim) Topich of Mason, OH; Lindsey (Matt) Dunithan of Syracuse, IN; step-granddaughter, Britt Fansler of Cromwell, IN; and seven great-grandchildren.

Alongside her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by death by two brothers, Bill and Donald Riemenschneider, one son, Ronnie Pickens and one great granddaughter, Jacqueline Topich

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday November 19, 2014, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Spencer officiating. A burial will follow at Metea Cemetery in Metea, Indiana.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of services on Tuesday

An Eastern Star and Niddee Shrine Guild service will be held just prior to her funeral service on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
