Rebecca “Becky” Riley, 63 of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 17, 2024, in Woodbridge Health Campus, following a recent battle with cancer.

Born October 17, 1961, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Hazel ( Bending) Wakeman.

Becky was employed at Smithfield Foods in Peru.

Her faith in God was her strength. She had attended Revolution Church. Her hobbies included Bingo and shopping. More than anything, she loved her family – especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Katina Byrd, Logansport; two sisters, Debra (Allen) Minter, and Patricia (Denzil) Ward; and three grandchildren, Kylie, Kinzie, and Alex Byrd.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jonathan and Jamie Burns.

A funeral service celebrating Becky’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. November 23 in Fisher Funeral Chapel, with Dawn Fisher officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.

Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
