Janet Claire Obenchain, 91, of Logansport, passed away Monday December 16, 2024, in Monticello Healthcare, Monticello.

Born November 5, 1933, in Logansport, she was the daughter to the late Glen and Hazel (Williams) Obenchain.

Janet was a retired Medical Records Administrator in the Health Care Industry. She enjoyed gardening and socializing with friends at McDonalds.

Survivors include one son, Bob (Rita) DeWitt, Monticello, IN; two daughters, Lynne Martin, Logansport; Cheryl Colee, Logansport, IN; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Trapp, one sister, Joyce McNamara, and three brothers, Keith, William and Jack Obenchain.

A Celebration of life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday December 21, 2024, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Phillips Officiating.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society/ Pets-R-Us in memory of Janet.
