Robert Roy Woodruff

Robert Roy Woodruff, 70 of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, at home.
Born June 10, 1954, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Homer Woodruff, and Kay (Tucker) Woodruff Mitchell, who survives.
Following high school, Rob began a longtime career as a truck driver. He had a knack for fixing cars and was great at problem-solving when it came to mechanics. His heart was big, and he would often stop along the side of the road to help a stranger experiencing car problems.
Rob was a big fan on anime films and Doctor Who. He was also a huge Trump supporter. While he wasn’t one to express his feelings out loud, he showed his family how much he loved them by the things he did for them They knew they were loved.
Surviving with his mother, Kay Mitchell, of Logansport, is daughter, Dawn (Jonathan) Meek of Walton, Indiana, son, Robert Roy (Rosa) Woodruff, II, Son, Christopher Woodruff, (Stephanie Daisy); siblings, Mark Woodruff, Tom Woodruff, Linda Saltsman and Mary Gail Savoie; grandchildren Robert Woodruff, Natalie Woodruff, Naomi Woodruff, Dakota Woodruff, and Logan Woodruff, and baby Woodruff on-the-way; and several nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Woodruff.
