Jonothon Stone Baldwin, 31, of Star City, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Jonothon was born December 19, 1993, in Cape Canaveral, Florida,
He enjoyed playing basketball anytime and anywhere he saw he hoop. Jon was a baller. He was awarded a scholarship to Purdue to play basketball.
Jonothon had the gift of making others laugh. He was proud that he had the most perfect eyebrows and let everyone know it. Jonothon shared a special bond with his mother and always told her she would never know how it feels to be as big of a Momma’s boy as he was.” He bragged on his Momma’s “B & G’s” as the best biscuits and gravy in the world.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Tysie (Rechkemmer) and Steven Lewis; his father and stepmother, Wallace and Debra Baldwin; his brothers, Nathan Lambert, Tyler Lewis, Tristan Lewis, and Andrew Baldwin; one sister, Whittney Baldwin; his grandmother, Angie Rechkemmer; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Keith “Tiny” Rechkemmer.
Visitation hours will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. Monday, February 3 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service celebrating Jonothon’s life will be take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 4 in the funeral chapel with Dawn Fisher officiating.
Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Logansport.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help with Jonothon’s final expenses.
