Ronald J. Gioscio, age 76, Logansport, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in his residence.

Born September 11, 1948, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Roxy Gioscio and Joann Dotterweich Gioscio.

In 1985 he married Jean Gioscio, who survives.

Ron was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in 1969 and 1970. He was a member of the American Legion.

He had retired as a district manager for Kohl’s Department Stores.

Ron enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and beer Steins. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Pacers, Dallas Cowboys, and NASCAR racing. He also enjoyed auctions and flea markets, and playing golf.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son, Tony (Catherine) Gioscio, Camby, Indiana; brothers, Tom (Julie) Gioscio, Warner Robins, Georgia, Larry Gioscio and Marshall (Stephanie) Gioscio, all of Indianapolis; two step children, Larry Johnson, Jr., (Kim Hopper), Tina (Greg) Austin; six grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Brock Johnson (Trista Hayden), Amy (Shane) Galbreath, Cameron (Sierra) Austin, Tanner (Sarah) Austin, Kane Gioscio; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A stepson, Mark Johnson, and aunt, Lena Dotterweich, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 24th, at Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Father Adam Mauman officiating.

Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home on Tuesday, prior to the procession to All Saints Catholic Church for the funeral mass.

Entombment will be Wednesday, February 26th, in Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis.
