Daniel L. Anderson, 65, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly February 25, 2025, in Logansport, at his home.

Born September 26, 1959, in Logansport, he was the son of Jackie Lee Anderson, who survives in Logansport, and the late Shirley Ann (Thrush) Anderson.

Danny was a 1978 graduate of Logansport High School. During high school, he worked for the Cass County Carousel.

Like his father, he was gifted with a mechanical mind. Danny worked as an auto mechanic for 49 years, retiring this past July. At the age of 16, he started working at Hendrickson Motors, then Mike Anderson’s and Twin Lakes Dodge. When Chrysler had a problem with cars, they would call him to see if he could figure out the problem.

His hobbies included remote-controlled airplanes. Danny loved music and enjoyed playing the keyboard.

Also surviving are his children, Jennifer Anderson and Jeff Anderson, both of Logansport; one sister, Teresa Popejoy, Logansport; and two grandsons, Jarrett Hughes and Isaiah Elzbeck.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Dawn Fisher officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
