Eric E. Norzinskay

Eric Emerson Norzinskay, age 55, Logansport, passed away at 2:02 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at Aperion Care in Peru.

Born September 24, 1969, in Logansport, he was the son of David Norzinskay and Cindy Hatten Norzinskay. His father, David, passed away in 1994. His mother, Cindy Hatten, survives, residing in Logansport

A 1988 graduate of Logansport High School, Eric had been employed at Area V and Cole Hardwood.

He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame football and basketball. In his younger years he loved playing for the Babe Ruth League “Eagles” and Little League “UFCW” teams.

He also loved working outside.

Surviving are a daughter, Faith Norzinskay, Logansport; sisters, Missy Norzinskay Hayes and Lindsay (Ryan) Horace.

Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Kathy and Jim Miller, Missy Hatten and John Wysong, and Kevin and Cindy Hatten.

In addition to his father, Eric was preceded in death by his stepmother, Susan Norzinskay; maternal grandparents, Emerson and Loisann Gotschall Hatten; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Sue Norzinskay; aunt, Teresa Hatten; and brother-in-law, Mike Hayes.

Not to be forgotten was his dog, Dottie Lucille, who also preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 19th, at Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home.
