Pamela Myers, 80 of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, with her family by her side, at Wellbrooke of Kokomo, following a long, hard-fought battle with chronic lung disease.

Blessed with wonderful parents, Pam was born December 3, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late William Augustus and June (Mitchell) Eikelberner.

On October 18, 1969, in the Shiloh Christian Church, she was married to Gary Myers, who survives. She loved watching Gary racehorses in the harness racing circuit. They made so many wonderful memories during their 56-years of marriage.

A 1963 graduate of Royal Center High School, she attended Ball State University to study bookkeeping. At the age of 19, Pam decided to enter the workforce following in her dad’s footsteps at Eikelberner Tractor Sales. Her dad said, “It was the best thing I ever done to hire Pam.” When her father retired, she stayed on with Jack Stafford Ford After 28 years, when it became New Holland-Logansport, worked until the age of 74 when she finally retired. Through various owners during that time span, Pam worked as the bookkeeper and parts manager along with her best friend, the late Mike Stephenson. She exemplified the old saying, “Find a job you like, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” She loved working.

A very classy and beautiful lady, Pam always managed to handle situations with grace and dignity. She had an eclectic sense of style and enjoyed fashion as well as antiques. Her garden, especially the beautiful flowers she cared for, were a great source of pride. In addition to her love of horses, she had a soft spot in her heart for all animals – especially her cats and any animal rescue program. Pam was a loyal fan of the Purdue Boilermakers basketball program.

A faithful member of the Shiloh Christian Church, Pam was well-known for her thoughtfulness in sending cards to people. Her family would like to thank everyone for returning that favor as Pam felt so loved by the many cards and prayers sent her way. During the final years of her life, she just wanted to spend time with her family and reflect on the many blessings of a life that was well-lived.

Surviving with her husband, Gary, is her daughter, Charity Myers, of Kokomo; her sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Bernhard Ulfers. Logansport; one grandson, Parker Pluckebaum (Emma Watson); and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A funeral service celebrating Pam’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 19 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mark Marshall officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will follow in the Shiloh Christian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
