Ralph E. Garver, 93, of Logansport, passed away at Tuesday evening, March 18, 2025, at his home.

Born November 13, 1931, in Fulton County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mary Pauline (Bagwell) Garver.

On June 18, 1953, in Kewanna, he was married to Donnabelle Butler, who preceded him in death on December 12, 2014.

A graduate of Kewanna High School, Ralph earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Bible College in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

For over 35 years, he taught Bible studies as a speaker at the former Gospel Chapel on Cliff Drive.

Ralph was dedicated to his craft as a skilled meat cutter for over 40 years before retiring from his position as meat department manager at Spitz IGA.

Ralph found joy and strength in weightlifting, a lifelong passion that showed his determination and discipline. He also enjoyed photography. One of his greatest passions was racing cars at the Bunker Hill Drag Strip.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Rosalie Jane Garver, of Monticello; several nieces and nephews, including Peggy (Randy) Graves, Logansport.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Kimberly and Jeffrey Garver and two brothers, Garold Garver and Paul Garver.

A funeral service celebrating Ralph’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2025, in Fisher Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
