Susan Lee Spencer

Susan Lee Spencer, age 84, of Logansport, passed away Monday March 31, 2025, in Woodbridge Health Campus.

Born October 26, 1940, in Logansport, IN to the late Charles and Dorothy (Ayers) Acton. On March 6, 1960, in Logansport, IN she married Jerry Lee Spencer who preceded her in death on September 28, 2017.

Susan retired from Walmart working as a cashier and a greeter. She had also formerly worked for the Pharos Tribune. Susan was a member of River of Life Christian Church, enjoyed jigsaw Puzzles, spending time watching her grandchildren’s sports, Hallmark TV and watching Purdue. 

Survivors include two sons, Tracy (Andrea) Spencer, Logansport; Jeff Spencer, Logansport; granddaughter, Brannyn Spencer, Greenwood; one grandson, Braxton Shidler, Indianapolis; two nieces, Lynn Ellen Smith, Brookston; and Nancy L. Zeider of Logansport.

Susan was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Spencer and one sister, Fay Ellen Holcomb.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday April 3, 2025, at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport, IN with Pastor Doug Thomas officiating.
