
Arrest made in ongoing manhunt

The Logansport Police Department announces the successful arrest of Adrian Hernandez, age 20, of Logansport, who as apprehended today approximately 6:40 a.m. following an intensive manhunt that began earlier this month.
Adrian Hernandez was wanted in connection h multiple domestic batteries, numerous violations of a protective der, criminal recklessness, and violation of probation.
The arrest was made in the 2100 block of County Road 300 North, in Cass County, where officers from Logansport Police Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, Cass County Drug Task Force and Fulton County Sheriff’s Department coordinated efforts with the assistance of a K-9 unit, drones, SWAT and several other officers. The suspect was taken into custody after an intensive search of a large, wooded area and is currently being held at the Cass County Jail.
“We are grateful for the diligent efforts of our officers and the cooperation of the neighboring agencies during this manhunt,” said Police Chief Travis Yike, “Thanks to the community’s support and the tireless work of our team, we were able to bring this individual into custody safely.”

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
