Lester Ronald “Ron” Hall, 78.Walton, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Monday, April 28, 2025, with his family by his side.
Born March 14, 1947, in Butler, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lester Reagle and Margaret Pauline (Sybert) Hall.
On January 12, 1967, in Michigan, he was married to Iris Susanne “Sue” (Reagle) Hall, who survives.
In 1965, Ron graduated from Moniteau High School in West Sunbury, Pennsylvania,
Ron honorably dedicated his life to serving our Nation, participating in both the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. Ron received an Associates of Science in Electronics through the United States Air Force. He devoted his entire career to the United States Air Force, achieving the distinguished rank of Master Sergeant prior to his retirement. Ron then worked for the FAA at the Indianapolis International Airport.
A member of the Native American Council, Ron was proud of his heritage. He was also a member of the Native American Alaskan Native Coalition.
Ron was a 32nd-degree Master Mason and held membership in the Grove City Lodge #603 Free & Accepted Masons in Pennsylvania. He was also a member of the Valley of New Castle in the Order of Scottish Rite in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
Surviving with his wife, Sue, is his son, Mark (Stacy) Hall, of Peru, Indiana, and daughter Dawn (Daniel) Mykut, of Walton, Indiana. He is also survived by three sisters, Barbara (Kenneth) Tebay, Beverly Joan Everly, and Margaret Elaine (William) Crispin. Ron was proud of his grandchildren, David Mykut, Joseph Mykut, Alexis Hall (Kristopher Marburger), Sabra Hall (Aaron Hall) and Jade Danyel Hall.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Hall.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 2 in Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, Indiana.
At 7 p.m. Friday, members of the United States Air Force will accord military honors in memory of Ron – a final tribute to his service to our Country.
Following the military honors, the Hanna Lodge No. 61 from Wabash will conduct Masonic rites assisted by Logansport’s Tipton Masonic Lodge as well as members throughout the state.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children and Riley Hospital for Children. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
