
Linda Swayze

Linda Swayze, 74 of Logansport, Indiana, passed away early Monday morning, April 21, 2025, at Franciscan Health – Lafayette East Campus.
Born July 4, 1950, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late James and Betty (Hines) Swayze.
She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Donald, who died November 22, 2018.
In 1968, Linda graduated from Pioneer High School. She had worked at Controls for many years, and retired from Cal Comp.
Linda was a faithful follower of Jesus and attended the Walton Christian Church. She enjoyed fun and fellowship with her Home Extension club sisterhood.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Christie and Ed Champ, of Clayton Ohio; one brother, Ronald (Donna) Swayze, of Camden; three grandchildren, Kimberly (Jordan) Ogle, Sara (Jack) Farmhan, and James (Allison) Champ; and great-grandchildren, Weston Ogle. Dax Farnham, Emerson Champ, Wrenley Champ, Madelyn Farnham, and two more on-the-way; her niece, Shannon Swayze, and nephew, Ryan (Tracie) Swayze, and their children, Danielle and Kyle.
In addition to her parents and her fiancé, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn and Barbara.
A funeral service celebrating Linda’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 2 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastors Bill Collins and Larry Phillips officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the Royal Center Cemetery.
