
One arrested for residential entry in Cass County

On Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at approximately 5:55 a.m., Cass County Central Dispatch received a call reporting that a homeowner had subdued and restrained an unknown male on the second floor of his residence.
Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Logansport Police Department arrived at the 1300 block of Kiesling Road within four minutes of the 911 call. Logansport Police Officers Flory and Haney made initial entry into the home, where they located 42-year-old James Bibby II being subdued by the homeowner. Further investigation found that the suspect had no interest in the residence and was unknown to the residence. Two adults and three children were at the home when Mr. Bibby entered.
James Bibby II was arrested and transported to the Cass County Detention Center for the criminal charge of residential entry, a level 6 felony.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
