
John William Rigle

John William Rigle, 83, of Logansport, Indiana, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, with his beloved family by his side.
John was born March 1, 1942, in Bunker Hill, Indiana. He was the son of Fred and Dorothea Rigle, both deceased. He was preceded in death by his late wife: Rita Kane Rigle of Bunker Hill, Indiana in 2012, and by Connie McAllister Mooney Rigle of Peru, Indiana, in 2021.
He is survived by one son: Rodney Rigle (Karen) of Logansport; and one daughter: Rhonda (Kevin) McCormick of Grove, Oklahoma. Also surviving are his grandchildren: JK (Melissa) McCormick; Natasha (Josh) Rigle Ploss; April (Eric) McCormick Henry; Alisha (Brandon) Rigle Byers; Marisha (Travis) Rigle Besser; Kat (Nick) Szalay; and James (Loren) Meyer; and several Great-Grandchildren: Colton Ploss, Cason Ploss; Morgan Rigle, Mannix Byers, Riley Byers, Aiden Byers; Eleanor Henry; Radlee and Bodee Besser. One greatgrandchild, Marlee Smith, preceded him in death.
John served as a preacher and a teacher. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Logansport.
In his early days in Logansport, he was a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the local Lions Club. He served in the past on the executive boards of Cass County Big Brothers, Weekday Religious Education, as well as a member of Chase Clergy Council.
Following his ministry in Logansport, he founded the North Central Indiana Evangelizing Association and the Indiana Church Builders.
He also owned Interstate EnviroClean Products, LLC with stores in Logansport, Lafayette and Huntington.
A Living Funeral was held in March so John could visit with his family and friends and share his testimony. Jeff Strite shared a meditation related to John’s life and ministry. Scott Jewell coordinated the music. Good food and fellowship followed, allowing John to say his “see you later’s” in person.
