ABOVE: Joni and Tim Lambert gathered with Logansport Savings Bank President and CEO Chad Higgins and many other LSB staff members to accept the first $1,925 community grant given this year in honor of the bank’s 100th anniversary. The Chad Lambert Youth Athletic Fund was chosen as a grant recipient by our employees, many of whom worked with Joni during her 22 years at Logansport Savings Bank.

Logansport Savings Bank (LSB) is proud to share a community grant of $1,925 with the Chad Lambert Youth Athletic Fund, as part of our 100th anniversary celebration. This grant is one of several that will be awarded throughout the year to local organizations chosen by our employees through a consensus vote.

The Chad Lambert Youth Athletic Fund has a special and unique tie to Logansport Savings Bank. Joni Lambert, Chad Lambert’s mother, was an LSB employee for 22 years and recently retired from her dedicated career in banking. Many of our current LSB employees were longtime coworkers with Joni, and remember when Tim and Joni started this fund in their son’s memory.

This grant will support their ongoing efforts to offset costs and provide sponsorships for young athletes and youth athletic programs in our community.

Chad Higgins, President and CEO of Logansport Savings Bank, shared his thoughts on the initiative.

“Reaching our 100th anniversary as a local, community bank means a lot to us,” he said. “By supporting the Chad Lambert Youth Athletic Fund, we are not only honoring our past but also investing in the future. We believe in the power of local organizations to drive positive change, and we are proud to contribute to their efforts.”

Throughout our 100-year history, Logansport Savings Bank has grown to proudly serve communities across north-central Indiana. We are “Rooted in History… Focused on the Future.”

Because our roots started a century ago in Logansport, we have limited the recipients of these grants to the Logansport and Cass County community for this one-time initiative. As grants are awarded throughout the year, Logansport Savings Bank will share updates on its website and social media channels.
