Michael L. “Mike” Albright, 73, of Logansport, was surrounded by his family early Wednesday morning, April 30, 2025, when he passed away at Woodbridge Health Campus following a hard-fought battle with glioblastoma brain cancer.
Born October 4, 1951, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Charles and Kathryn “Laverne” (Oakes) Albright.
On December 16, 1972, Mike married the love of his life, Linda (Ruffner) Albright, who survives.
At Logansport High School, Mike was part of the El-Tip-Wa vocational trade program. He used his knowledge in electronics as a maintenance technician with Comcast for many years, retiring in 2013.
Mike was a gifted photographer with a passion for capturing life’s most cherished moments. A former member of the Professional Photographers of America, he dedicated his craft in creating timeless images that celebrated families, weddings, senior portraits and nature scenes.
Surviving with his wife is his daughter, Traci J. Robbins; one brother, Terry (Jo) Albright; one sister, Nancy (David) Swank; his grandsons, Matt (Sierra) Heflin, and Jake Heflin (Bethanie Warnock), three great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Isabela, and Mitchell; several nieces, nephews; and cousins; as well as special friends, Beverly Maloy and Angelique Witlam.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Surber.
Visitation hours will be from 4 – 7 p.m. Saturday, May 3 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service celebrating Mike’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 4 in the funeral chapel, with Dawn Fisher officiating.
Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Because of his infinite love for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be given to St.. Jude Children’s Hospital in his memory.
