Vada L. Logan, 80, Logansport, Indiana, passed away at home with her family by her side on Sunday, May 4, 2025, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born May 23, 1944, in Kokomo, Indiana, she was the daughter of William “Bill” and Bertha (Lozier) Riddle.
On May 31, 1991, in Logansport, she was married to Michael H. Logan, who survives.
Vada was retired from TM Morris/Kauffman Mfg. where she was working supervisor. Many people may remember her from her days as a bartender at the Moose Lodge and the Logansport Country Club.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved knitting, crocheting and crafting. An excellent cook herself, Vada had a large collection of cookbooks. More than anything, she loved her grandchildren.
Surviving with her husband, Mike, are her children, Jeff Williams, Indianapolis, Greg(Cynthia) Williams, Kokomo, Phillip (Melissa) Williams, Kokomo, Anita Williams (Greg Onken), Monticello, and Rose Woodward, Logansport; and her precious grandchildren, Luke Williams, Erin Williams (Seth Homan), Tyler (Taylor) Williams, Makayla Williams, Mallorie (Wyatt) Hughes, Heidi (Zane) Downing, Patrick Williams, Evan Williams, Calvin Mackey, and Alonna Mackey; and two great grandchildren, Ily and Paxton Homan.
Vada was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 1 – 3 p.m. Thursday, May 8th in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service celebrating Vada’s life will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral chapel.
Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
