Lana Diane Army, 64 of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025, at IU Arnett Health in Lafayette following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born March 23, 1961, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late William and Malinia (Crane) Hudson.

On November 27, 1996, in Logansport, she was married to Joseph Robert Army. He preceded her in death January 25, 2016.

She found joy in the simple and the spirited -whether tending her garden, feeling the wind on a motorcycle ride, or sharing her cooking skills with those she loved. She was proud of her Native American heritage.

Surviving are two daughters, Tabbatha Hudson and Heather Steele; one brother, Lloyd D. Hudson; her half-sister, Barbara Diane (Joe) Hart; her precious grandchildren, Dakota (Nakiah) Steele, Zachary (Jean) Steele, Malaina (Tristan) Steele, and Masion (Tiani) Steele; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Hudson, Jr., and Lonnie Hudson; and one great-granddaughter, Kyra Lough.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon on Friday, June 27th at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Kelly Spencer will officiate. Burial, at a later date, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
