Dylan Blakely Sera was born on March 4, 2007, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2026.
Dylan was the beloved son of Jennifer and Jonathon Sera. He was a cherished brother to his older brother, Beau, and his younger sister, Amelia. He was dearly loved by his grandparents, Don and Kay McCarty and Judy Cochran. Dylan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerry Cochran. He was also loved by his aunts Jenny, Tracy, Kim, and Kristi, and his uncles Vic, Mike, Gene, and Jeff.
Dylan attended school at Fletcher Miller in Jefferson County, Colorado, where he had recently completed his time as a student. He also attended Bear Valley Church in Lakewood, Colorado, where he enthusiastically worshiped the Lord. Dylan was deeply loved by his family, teachers, and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
Dylan had a joyful spirit and loved to sing and dance. He enjoyed bulldozers, firetrucks, car washes, and watching the wind blow through the trees. He also enjoyed going to restaurants, playing in the sand on the beach, swimming in the pool, and reading books together. He was always up for a celebration, including holidays, birthdays, and especially Christmas. Balloons were his absolute favorite way to celebrate. His happiness, warmth, and love touched the lives of all who knew him.
