William Gene Towe

William Gene “Tony” Towe, age 64, of Logansport, passed away at 12:56 am on Saturday May 16, 2026 in Millers Merry Manor of Logansport.

Born November 22, 1961 in Logansport to Alva Gene and Alice Janette (Nickles) Towe.

Tony was a former cement finisher for Rocky Scruggs and had also worked for Slussers Green Thumb. He was also Army Veteran with a loving heart.

Survivors include two sons, Josh Towe, New York, NY; Matthew (Kimberly) Towe, Montgomery, MI; three sisters, Mary D. Merrill, Logansport; Rose M. Elliott, Logansport; Tina L. Wingler, Valonia, IN; one brother, Allen Rex Towe, Royal Center; three granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to join us in celebrating the life and memory of William Gene Towe.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on June 7th from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Spencer Park. Together, we will gather to share memories, stories, laughter, and reflection as we honor the life he lived and the moments he gave to those around him. Hotdog and hamburgers will be provided. Feel free to bring your favorite side dish.

A private burial will take place at Mt. Hope cemetery where he will be placed with his mother.
