The Celebration of life for Frank will be on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at the American Legion Post 60 in Logansport, with Minister Pamela Pugh officiating.
James Frank Smith, age 72, Logansport, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021, surrounded by his family.
Born June 15, 1948, in Logansport, he was the son of James Fount and Betty Adams Smith.
On March 21, 1981, he married Sandra Bunnell, who survives.
Frank was retired from the Logansport State Hospital. He later worked as a client care specialist at Four County Counseling Center.
Surviving are daughters, Kristina (Joe) Keeler, Jennifer (Tom) Hildebrand and Jayme Smith, all of Logansport.
His surviving siblings are Arlene (Mike) Halstead, Debbye (Rex) Piercy, Tommy Rivers, Kimberly Pickett and Larry Rivers.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Shawn Righter, Amanda Downham, Sherman Bowyer, Samantha Hunt, Haley Rentschler, Michael Levi Rentschler, Katelyn Kelley, Jaidyn Smith; great-grandchildren, Ava Mann, Sumariahna Bowyer, Junior Peak, Austraia Peak; a number of step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews
Preceding him in death were his daughter, Danielle Bowyer-Downham and brother, Norman Castle.
The service will be private at a later date.
