Richard Lee Tabler, 80, of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in the IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born April 10, 1941, in Macy, Indiana, he was the son of the late Ashel and Ruth Marie (Crispen) Tabler.
On May 2, 1965, he was married to Susan Lea (Hildebrand) Tabler, who survives.
Richard was retired from the Coca Cola Bottling Plant.
He was an associate member of the VFW Post 3790 and the American Legion Post 60 and had been active in the former Eagles Aerie No. 323.
Surviving with his wife of 56 years are his daughter, Suzanne Marie Brewer, of Knox, Indiana; his son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Lee and Rachel Tabler, of Logansport; brother, Larry Tabler; sisters, Beverly Slisher, Marcia Honkomp, Mary Nolen, and Pammy Tabler; grandchildren, Ashleigh Brewer, Tiffany Brewer, Kayti Brewer (Dustin Shivley), T.J. (Melani) Brewer, Matthew Brewer, Kensleigh Brewer, Peyton Tabler, and Brandon Tabler; and ten great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service celebrating Richard’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 29 in Fisher Funeral Chapel. Pastor Jeff Allen will officiate.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service in the funeral chapel.
