Sharon Sue Frushour, age 87, passed away peacefully March 2, 2025, at Franciscan Hospital, Lafayette.

Born September 3,1937, she was the daughter of O.R. (Bill) and Goldia (Wiseley) Cox. 

On April 7, 1956, she was married in St Elizabeth Church, Lucerne, to John Kelly Frushour, who preceded her in death in January, 1993.

Sharon was a graduate of Logansport High School. She retired in 2002 from the Cass County Clerk’s Office, having worked in various county offices for over forty years.

She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. Sharon enjoyed reading, sewing and traveling.  She was a tremendous cook and baker. Her noodles, potato salad and homemade pies were legendary. She also spent the last thirty years as a caregiver for family, friends, and neighbors. 

Survivors include her son, Michael and daughter-in-law Michele, Logansport; daughter, Beth Behny, Chicago; brother and sister-in-law, Richie and Susie Cox; grandsons, Logan and Dylan Frushour, and Noah Behny; great-grandson, Liam Frushour, and several nieces and nephews.

A private service is planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic Church, Cass County Humane Society, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
