Michael Shepard, born September 23, 2004, in Logansport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the age of 21.
Michael was known by all who loved him as a gentle giant. Quiet yet witty, he had an uncanny ability to deliver the perfect comeback at just the right moment, leaving smiles and laughter in his wake.
A champion of his conservative values, Michael was deeply loyal, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. His interests were as strong as his character. He loved to hunt and enjoyed gaming with his friends. He looked forward to family dinners and game night. His favorite moments were spent surrounded by his tribe, sharing stories, laughter, music of all genres and genuine connection. Michael loved his truck and even gave it the name “Donna”.
Michael’s legacy of kindness, sharp wit, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He leaves behind a community forever touched by his presence and spirit.
He is survived by his parents Mary and Justin Shepard and Jamie Reese; his siblings James Baumgardner, Trent Reece, Matthew Reese, Nate Shepard and Elizabeth Shepard; his grandparents Conrad and Sharon Hartsch, Lena (Greg) Hall, Joe (Wilma) Shepard, and Joan Eaton.
